The 104,000 square foot office building, also known as McLean Plaza, is leased to a variety of medical and commercial tenants, including MedStar, Virginia Hospital Center and Contrack International. The transaction also includes a 0.4-acre park located adjacent to the property. The building was developed in 1981 and renovated in 2011. Kenwood Management Company will manage the property and Larry Fitzgerald and Cole Spalding with Newmark will be the leasing agents. Jud Ryan from Newmark was the investment sales broker representing the seller. Bill Singer, who represented the purchaser, said, “McLean Plaza is an outstanding property located in the heart of McLean and is walkable to numerous amenities. This represents a long-term investment for us. We also look forward to the tenants becoming a part of our Kenwood Community, which now includes nearly 200 tenants.” Founded in 1996, Kenwood’s investment portfolio exceeds 1.4M square feet and consists of office, medical, flex and warehouse properties situated in the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore markets.
